I was listening to Yo-Yo Ma's cover of Bach, Cello Suites while drawing this picture. My dog seemed to like the tune. She curled up by my side and begged for a belly rub. She looked very peaceful, I was calm as well. This drawing is a combination of two hobbies I wish to pursue: playing the cello & speaking Portuguese. None of which I have yet to master, let alone know the basics. Please correct the sentence if it has a grammatical error. Again, I am not fluent in Portuguese.

Oh brother.

Ona is a good sister. She cares enough to carry her passed out brother, Ollie, to wherever they may be headed. How this came about, we may never know.

No Game of Thrones

Ona is clearly upset that Game of Thrones did not continue in its usual fashion this week. I understand her plight. Consuming fantasy violence over an extended period of time can start a craving. Ona said that even Jordan & James on YouTube, http://goo.gl/0xDOs, did nothing to quell her blood-lust. So I also showed her this clip from Braveheart: http://goo.gl/VXLrS. That seemed to work for a brief time, but she's got to get used to an absence of melee weapon based gore. There's only so much until you run out. Plus, what would the kids think? They're just as impressionable as ever. Happy Memorial Day!

Fiction

My fiction wants to kill me because I've been negligent. It's growing impatient and I'm growing lazier. The Mountain can easily consume you, the trick is to be the boss of your own mountain. Conquer your wants and desires, slice and dice them. Get rid of access want and focus on what truly matters to you. It's okay to fail, as long as you try again. It's time to stop this madness & start.

Every successful artist finds that pop art that people love. Hopefully this is it. I plan on selling prints of stuff like this: comic style, movie scene prints.
